Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Functional Consultant with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to support our dynamic FMCG operations. You will play a key role in translating business needs into system functionality, ensuring Business Central is configured and optimized to support core processes across sales, finance, supply chain, production, and distribution. This role is essential in driving operational efficiency, user adoption, and continuous improvement.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document functional requirements.
• Map FMCG business processes into Business Central functionalities, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Configure and customize Business Central modules including inventory, order management, finance, warehousing, and production.
• Support ERP implementation, upgrades, and integrations with third-party systems (e.g., POS).
• Conduct functional testing, UAT coordination, and issue resolution.
• Provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support.
• Work closely with technical teams to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and reporting accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements.
• Participate in change management and internal communication efforts to support adoption.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Education & Technical Skills

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst in ERP environments.
  2. Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, preferably in FMCG or distribution.
  3. Strong understanding of FMCG operations including inventory, warehousing, sales, and finance.
  4. Experience in ERP configuration, testing, and support.
  5. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com).
  6. Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
  7. Strong communication skills in English and French, with the ability to liaise across business and IT teams.

OTHER DESIRABLE SKILLS

  1. Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
  2. Knowledge of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
  3. Experience with EDI, POS, WMS, or logistics systems.
  4. Exposure to AI, RPA, or IoT-enabled solutions in FMCG.
  5. Background in digital transformation or data-driven process improvement.
